Alessia was born in San Diego California,
blessing her mother and father Cathy and Frank
with her presence on December the 5th in the year
1984. From early on in life they realized one
thing...she would never shut up! Crying turned
into talking and talking turned into singing. She
participated in many activities that would allow
her to release her energy. Softball, Cheerleading
and the occasional Talent Show were always great
activities for the rambunctious youth.
It wasn't until moving to Scottsdale Arizona that
she discovered her passion: Theatre! There she
discovered many different aspects of theatre and
found that the part that she loved the most was
musical theatre and continued to perform at her
high school as well as community and regional
theatres there.
After a couple of years of college in Arizona,
Alessia decided to take a big leap and move to
New York City! She attended the American Musical
and Dramatic Academy where she honed her skills
in musical theatre. She finished school in the
spring of 2005 and has been working steadily ever
since. Some of her favorite jobs include touring
all over the US, Canada and UK Australia with
Dora the Explorer LIVE! and her involvement with
the pop group NFusion. She is a proud member of
Actors Equity Association.
